CONCEPT + CREATIVE DIRECTION + EXHIBITION DESIGN
In 2017, IDAM was selected as one of the 20 designers under the age of 35 by the prestigious jury of Design X Design team to showcase their work at their 7th Annual Exhibition. We used this opportunity to launch our sustainable design initiative, IDAMknits and put together a visual experience for the audience.
PROCESS
We were sure we wanted to incorporate IDAM's USP of hand illustrated prints and patterns. It all starts with the dot and we wanted to play around with that form and create varied polka patterns using print and embroidery techniques.

It was a privilege to showcase our work and exhibit a visual experience for the design fraternity.

To create an interactive experience, we took inspiration from our childhood activity of Join the Dots and created a board with jumbled words asking the audience to pick a colour they most resonate with and create a pattern on the board. As a takeway, there were small post cards that encouraged them to go back in time and indulge themselves in the nostalgic activity with a small happy reminder to ' Enjoy The Little Things' .
